A 24-block area of over 700 structures makes up the South Park Historic District which dates back to the 1880s. It is in a convenient location, within walking distance of the Oregon Historic District, downtown Dayton, the campus of the University of Dayton, and Miami Valley Hospital. South Park is mostly residential and significant because of the variety of its architecture.
