I thought this was interesting to see mapped out and thought I would share it! This site shows the 13 different historic districts that are right here in Dayton! These districts are the Oregon, South Park, Dayton View, McPherson Town, St. Anne’s Hill, Huffman, East 3rd Street, Grafton Hill, Grafton-Rockwood-Wroe and Kenilworth. Some of these I already knew about, but many I have not even heard of! This is nice to know!
I LOVE that we can find information at the touch of a button, with our phones or computers – and at any time. However, sometimes – you do need to VERIFY that the information is current, legit and or accurate. When looking for housing (rental or to purchase or to sell) and / or commercial properties – did you know that the services of a LOCAL REALTOR could be invaluable?! Let us be your eyes and ears on the ground, your resource and for verification purposes.
Our Downtown Dayton Partnership has a phenomenal website that is user friendly. If you browse thru and see anything you would like more information on, we are here to help! http://www.downtowndayton.org/downtown-living/housing-options/
Ah, yes. The Oregon District! Home to many amazing local businesses! Dublin Pub, Alpha and Omega, Ned’s, Roost, Blind Bob’s, Lily’s, Salar, and Hole in the Wall, just to only name a few… The Historical Oregon District has been around since the 1800’s and can you believe the property back then only cost $2,000?! Wow! The fun fact here is that the Oregon District was one of the FIRST few properties in Dayton! So much fun rich culture to explore!
