Indoor Playgrounds

With the weather starting to get cold it’s easy to stay cooped up inside.  Don’t let that happen to you.  There are plenty of things to do, one thing being indoor playground areas.  This could be for adults, kids, or both!  There are many places to go on this list, including Little Gym of Dayton, Scene 75, Run Around Fun Town, EnterTRAINment Junction, and more!  Some of these places cost to go to, but some are free.  Keep moving this winter, don’t let the weather bog you down!

Hawthorn Hill

If you have not yet been here you should plan a visit!  This was the original home of the Wright family and has welcomed many other luminaries including Charles Lindbergh, Henry Ford, and Thomas Edison.  The tour of both will begin at Carillon Historical Park in Dayton then bring you to Hawthorn Hill in Oakwood via shuttle van.  There is much history to see between these two places!

I LOVE Basil’s

Basil’s On Market – originally a Troy, Ohio restaurant, expanded into the Downtown Dayton area and has since also added locations in Piqua and Mason. Classified as American Comfort Food – the taste flavors are enriched with all the deliciousness you can enjoy in one seating (and then repeat at another visit soon after!) The Downtown Dayton location is a picturesque setting along the Riverscape area – perfect for a patio table (weather permitting) and don’t forget, during the Dragons Ball Season – a little sound effects from a home run dragon snorting and light spray of water from the river fountains are a BONUS sensation to enjoy!

I LOVE Series was happy to spotlight this gem from our city to share with you…
