Most of us who were around for the “dry hurricane” have been busy dealing with the clean-up, getting back to normal and replacing the damages. Did you know there could be a Tax Advantage to all that we endured?? The Montgomery County Auditor and Greene County Auditor both have information on their website (although a little difficult to actually “find”.) Here’s the jest: If you have a home or business that suffered “severe” damage you could receive a REDUCTION on the real estate taxes. Here are the links for what you will need (and if still unsure, give me a call and I’ll help direct you or get the necessary paperwork links for you.) Remember – the more “documentation” you have – the better! URGENT – as the deadline to file for relief is fast approaching!
