Buyers are always looking for ways to purchase a home, without having to come out of pocket as much. With all the troubled news of real estate and the mortgage industry – many fear buyers no longer have as many choices. The good news is – there are still a variety of programs and ways to “assist” buyers with down payment, closing costs and prepaids: if you are not sure, ask me for details! I encourage Sellers to realize that Buyers may want / need a little assistance, and often helping with the down payment or closing costs is a better option than having to take a price reduction on the home. Certainly more buyers are interested with BUYING with less out of pocket vs. the “actual” final cost of the home.
