West Milton is North of Union, further up St Rt 48 (Main Street.) The rolling roads are an enjoyable ride for the family and there are many quaint shops and eateries available. About 4500 people call this town “home” and it seems to keep all the charm of small town life. Neighbors know each other and share their lives and thoughts openly. If you are looking for that house with the front porch swing and the security of a small town life – this is probably a good bet!

Union is located just North of Englewood and offers a small community feel for its residents. Rural roads and the convenience of interstate access make for an enjoyable ride! Small town USA with the small town feel. Just over 6,000 residents who live here LOVE living here and will be glad to share their reasons for staying in Union. (The same zip code is shared by Englewood and Union and therefore can cause confusion for someone who is not sure about the area.)
I have two recommendations for this area, one for a restaurant and one for tires (of all things!) If I am going to Union it’s nice to take a stop at either of these locations – and it’s always worth the drive otherwise.
The Tollhouse Tavern is located at 128 N Main Street and offers a great deal for the food portion you receive, taste and selection of food with good service and a nice atmosphere.
Union Tire Center at 104 N Main Street: if your vehicle is in need of tires – this would be the first (and probably last) place that I would check. Don is the owner and very helpful. You’ll feel you get the best price and the right tires with quality follow-up service!

A growing community that is family oriented with pride and support for the local school system. Nationally known for the Scenic Route 40, this drive through beautiful metro-park designations is a family event to treasure. Easy interstate access via I-70 is only minutes from most neighborhoods with a 5 minute drive to access I-75. You are on your way and traveling either East to West or North to South in just a moment of time, making your drive to work or anywhere an easy commute.

Best Known for being the “Wedding District” many brides-to-be have come to the area from all around the country to find that “perfect gown” or other important element to make their wedding day memorable. Located at Exit 12 off Interstate 75 you’ll come into the town of Reading and be greeted by the likes of family owned and operated restaurants, antique stores and every imaginable dress shop. A stable and older community just outside of the Greater Cincinnati area – you’ll see why parking the car in public lots provided and spending the day is a relaxing thing to do.

One of the Southern suburbs to the Dayton area – Centerville continues to grow and develop thanks to the easy commute via I-75 and 675 interchanges. State Route 48, in parts known as Far Hills and / or S Main Street is a major roadway that can literally be a scenic drive from one end of the far Northern to the far Southern communities that make up Dayton. (Granted, that drive will take you a bit longer – but it is rich in history and fun!)
Centerville is an area known for the Schools and Sports and all the “ELKS” pride that a community can muster. If you have a child that is looking for a sports program (and you still want them to have the education to fall back on) this is a good area for you to search and perhaps call your next home.
