Just heard the “breaking news” that Catepillar has agreed to build a major distribution center in Clayton…that is really good news for one of our smaller communities and who knows – maybe with a bit more work from other community leaders – others could follow.

In the real estate business there are many opportunities to come into people’s lives – sometimes for good or not so happy reasons. I truly enjoy working with people and I am always touched by those who have a kind and gentle way (and even those who can be somewhat difficult tend to find a special place in my heart.) Mark your calendars now – and save the dates for July 21 – 25 because the “traveling tent show” is coming to Centerville / Washington Township. We are one of five communities selected to host this tour and all events are FREE. Evening activities start at 6:30 PM and include musical entertainment with live shows starting at 7:30 PM/ If you are a history buff – this is a great way to learn a little more about our local history and those famous people from long ago. Additional activities will be held during the day at Washington – Centerville Public Libraries. And for baseball lovers – there’s going to be a “vintage” baseball game on Saturday, July 25 starting at 3 PM…none other than Abraham Lincoln will be throwing out the first pitch! Come on out and have some fun!!
