So much focus is being shifted to the “senior needs” as more people are entering their GOLDEN YEARS and need to have a change in living accommodations. What we often find, people either are WELL PLANNED for this venture – or completely SURPRISED by what all is involved with their new life change!! We want to help you in whatever ways possible… including to pass along helpful information with housing that fit the needs of Senior Living.
As recently reported in the Dayton Business Journal by Tristan Navera:
The expansive 100-acre senior living community in Centerville plans two projects at its main complex at 6451 Far Hills Ave., city officials say. Plans call for the company to demolish a 47,000-square-foot skilled nursing center wing in the Linden House. In its place would be a new 74 unit, 90,000-square-foot three-story assisted living facility. This would replace the west wing of the Linden House — and mean a net increase of 49 assisted living units.
If you have not had a chance to meet our Agent Tim Nuss – you should make it a point to get to know him! He is a dedicated person who began his service in the military (NAVY), after returning to civilian life he trained and works as an Occupational Therapist and since joining our office as a Realtor in 2015 – he has now added a designation of Senior Resource Specialist. Tim has found a way to bring all of his past experiences to fruition with his passion and drive to help others. Please join me in saying CONGRATS to Tim on a start to a very successful skillset he can further help those who need assistance with life changes.
There are specialized “designations” for different areas of real estate and we have found that Seniors have needs specific to their own circumstances. My background as an Occupational Therapist has given me a special insight on the needs of our elderly, combined with my enjoyment of estate sales and now my expertise as a Realtor – I am able to merge all of these skills for YOUR benefit.
If you are feeling the time may be approaching to start life planning for the next phase, allow me to sit down and discuss with you how I can help you make the necessary transitions. My goal is to help ensure that you don’t have to give away the equity you have worked for – at the time in your life when you were meant to enjoy all the benefits.
This will be the 25th Annual Event and if you are a sports fan, it is an event you don’t want to miss! Not only is it an opportunity for you to pick up some great memorabillia but it is a wonderful way to help support the St. Leonard Senior Living Community in Centerville. Local celebrities will host the event and their are several hundred items up for Silent Auction, with the live auction featuring the bigger “ticket” items. Registration is $65 per person, or if you have a group of 8 a table is $500. If it seems high in price – remember this is a CHARITY EVENT that has been around for years to help support our seniors. One day, we will not be so young and it is nice to think that maybe St Leonard’s Senior Living Community will still be around to help us out! Contact Susan Eisenhauer with St Leonard Foundation at 937-436-6416 for more information.
