One of the Southern suburbs to the Dayton area – Centerville continues to grow and develop thanks to the easy commute via I-75 and 675 interchanges. State Route 48, in parts known as Far Hills and / or S Main Street is a major roadway that can literally be a scenic drive from one end of the far Northern to the far Southern communities that make up Dayton. (Granted, that drive will take you a bit longer – but it is rich in history and fun!)

Centerville is an area known for the Schools and Sports and all the “ELKS” pride that a community can muster. If you have a child that is looking for a sports program (and you still want them to have the education to fall back on) this is a good area for you to search and perhaps call your next home.

Everyone always asks, “How are the Schools?” Like most states, Ohio does have the Annual Standardized Testing they perform and ratings are posted for each of the schools / districts. The best thing to do is check out the most recent report at the Ohio Department of Education’s site (click on link) http://ilrc.ode.state.oh.us/

This will not only give you information that is most current (or previous years of information) about the district but also specific to each building. If you are unsure about what school a particular property may be designated to attend, I will assist you in finding out from the school or transportation department for that area.
