Welcome to TIPP CITY

This wonderful “little” city is located North of Dayton and is an easy commute to surrounding communities via Interstate 75 / 70 that are nearby. Tippecanoe (previously known as) now Tipp City hosts events in the area and is a thriving place “to be” when you visit the town center for festival or concert or shop any of the street lined store-fronts. Located in Miami County (adjacent to the North of Montgomery County) this town is home to just over 10,000 people and is GROWING with new housing developments, social environment and jobs.

Has earned the prestigious designation as one of the FIVE BEST HOMETOWNS in OHIO and presents with all the Midwestern friendliness and small-town charm you can handle!!  Want to know more – explore their page http://www.visittippcity.org/or better yet – COME ON OUT AND VISIT TIPP CITY!

Troy Strawberry Festival

Another year and another festival – this one with the emphasis on “strawberries!”  This year’s festival is planned for June 6 and 7, 2009 and is worth packing up the family to head out and spend the day. Not only will your sweet tooth be thrilled, but you are likely to find unusual or new twists to the Strawberry favorites! Don’t forget the booths of crafts as well as food dishes…we’ll probably see you there. Check out their Site for more information CLICK HERE.

Troy

Best known and remembered by me for the Annual Strawberry Festival – this is a great way to say “Hello” to a community that celebrates being the center of Ohio’s Strawberry Production. The tradition of attending this event has been handed down from generations and with local artists, community restaurants and other special features – you’ll want to attend and see for yourself. The Strawberry Festival this year is scheduled June 7 -8, 2008.

West Milton

West Milton is North of Union, further up St Rt 48 (Main Street.) The rolling roads are an enjoyable ride for the family and there are many quaint shops and eateries available. About 4500 people call this town “home” and it seems to keep all the charm of small town life. Neighbors know each other and share their lives and thoughts openly. If you are looking for that house with the front porch swing and the security of a small town life – this is probably a good bet!
