South Park

If you are looking for a “historic” community to live or work in, South Park could prove to be a good choice for you! This area is Dayton’s largest historic district with over 700 buildings yet still offers the saying, “Where Neighbors Become Friends.” Walking distance to groceries, restaurants, University of Dayton and Miami Valley Hospital makes this an awesome choice to live. Whether you want the pride of rehab or satisfaction of owning an already renovated historic home – South Park has lots of choices for you.

Most noted for the REHABARMA that takes place annually, this event spotlights homes that are renovated or available for renovation (along with all the history and details of each property.) A great way to spend some time walking about the neighborhood and learning the history to help decide if this is the right place for you to call “home.”

Riverside

One of the most “recent” added community designations, Riverside was formed through the merger of Mad River Township and the Village of Riverside. This area neighbors Huber Heights, Kettering, Dayton and Beavercreek. Pride * Progress * Possibilities. You will find affordable housing with lots of opportunities for growth.

Troy

Best known and remembered by me for the Annual Strawberry Festival – this is a great way to say “Hello” to a community that celebrates being the center of Ohio’s Strawberry Production. The tradition of attending this event has been handed down from generations and with local artists, community restaurants and other special features – you’ll want to attend and see for yourself. The Strawberry Festival this year is scheduled June 7 -8, 2008.

Greene County

A neighboring county of Montgomery to the immediate East, Greene County is comprised of cities such as: Beavercreek, Fairborn, Yellow Springs, Cedarville, Xenia, Jamestown, and Bellbrook. With 5 Universities and Colleges, this county is well suited in the Education Field.

Huber Heights

“Come Grow With Us” is the motto for this community North of Dayton and known as the largest community of all brick homes.

Currently there is a major construction taking place on I-70 and this interrupts the normal traffic flow of the area. When this construction is complete – the commute to and from the area will be much easier and a welcome relief!
