John has worked with me for about a year…initially, we thought the path was to find a home for him to take care of his mother – but sadly, things change. He was not defeated – but again, rose to the occasion and took the challenge to better his credit and right his situation after his loss, so that he could find a home for himself. We know his mother was smiling down on his happy day and celebrating for him! What a joy to bring another client full circle and into his own home that offers income earning potential on top of ALL THAT LIVING SPACE!

Thinking back thru my years, I have been very blessed to have “vacations” as a priority. As a young girl growing up, my family traveled once a year to take a vacation (often combined with some other activity to be efficient of course) and it lit the torch for travel within my soul. My favorite childhood memory of travel was our trip thru the New England States – during the fall, as teacher in our area had gone on strike and so school was cancelled. That two weeks was an amazing opportunity for me to see other places and explore and have a sense of freedom that came along with the travels, all while being in the care of my parents of course.
Getting to travel and explore for my own family, children in tow – was an even bigger adventure, because it allowed the “new” feel to come back alive as seen thru the eyes of my sons. My hope was that they would take the time to explore and travel on their own so that their journey in this world could be as wonderful as I have found my own.

UPDATE June 2023: The following post information and materials contained is NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE. Understanding that loan programs and contacts are always subject to change is critical to ensuring you have timely access and up to date information.

With so many choices for lenders out there – you may often wonder, what’s the difference? We like to let our client’s know that sometimes it is a matter of personalities, but often times – you want to compare rates and closing costs to ensure you are getting the best deal possible. Other times – it is just knowing that the lender is IN IT with YOU and willing to make the process work, or take the extra time you might need to get the financing, or to help answer questions or so many other pieces of the puzzle that may need to “fit” to get your into the home “loan” for your budget.
I love when a lender is available to take calls, responds to emails, when they are PROACTIVE in working together and when they find the “right program” to fit our client’s needs!

Depending on your personal financial situation AND where you want to live – renting vs. owning may be the debate going on in your head… What “we” know and understand is that there are MANY FACTORS that play into the ultimate Best Decision for YOU – but hope that this will help offer additional considerations:
- If your credit is bad or not as good as a Lender would like for you to Purchase – You May Need to Rent
- If you are NEW to a JOB or AREA and not sure of your direction or ability to show “stability” for a lender – You May Need to Rent
- If the cost to PURCHASE is MORE than you have saved – and the monthly cost is HIGHER than you want to AFFORD – You May Need to Rent
- If you have a busy life, too many demands with work, etc and don’t want to worry about maintenance issues – You May Need to Rent
- If you are going to be short-term, typically less than 2-3 years in an area – You May Need to Rent
BUT – sometimes the cost of RENTING is HIGHER than OWNING – and then, if the above factors are not working against you – YOU WILL WANT TO BUY!
