Things to do In Dayton Area this Weekend
The festivals continue in our surrounding communities and this week you might enjoy going to the BIG Backyard Party Saturday, August 3rd at 11 AM. There are many beautiful parks in Brookville to be enjoyed!
Gateway Park, which is located on the corner of Upper Lewisburg Salem Road and Arlington Road. Here, there are picnic tables to enjoy nature or visit the Veterans and First Responders Memorial.
Ward Park can be accessed from Wolf Creek Street or at the end of Oak Street. There is a small basketball court and playground.
Westbrook Park located Westbrook Road has picnic tables, playground and soccer fields.
Powell Park is located on Mulberry Street, just past the Post Office, it has a beautiful gazebo surrounded by flowers to enjoy. It also is located along our Bike Path and has a Little Library box on site with available books to read, borrow or to leave a book inside.
Gruening Park is located downtown on Market Street. It offers a table and benches and makes for a great spot for some quiet time.
