The Annual Dayton Area Board of Realtors Golf Outing was another success at raising much needed funds for our local community. I am proud to be a part of this committee and for all those who worked so hard – we THANK YOU for your support. If you were not able to make it out and enjoy a round of golf, a game of cornhole or even just for the food and networking – YOU MISSED OUT! CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of $300 CASH PRIZES: Tom Trotter won $300 from Title Quest; Rose Felmet won $300 from M & M Title Agency; Steve Hansman won $300 from Countrywide; and finally (last but not least!) Ondina Bonser won $300 from Real Homes To Love.com !! In addition to the Cash Prize I offered, a couple of my previous clients were able to enjoy a round of golf in the afternoon and dinner “on me.” Just one of the ways I “believe in and give back.”

One of my favorite holidays – especially when it falls on a Friday!! Centerville hosts the Americana Parade – celebrating now for 30 years. It is a great chance to get out and see the kids and friends and neighbors line up along Franklin Street for the parade. Afterwards, the main streets remain blocked so that the festivities can be enjoyed: crafts, vendor booths, food, a car show, a kids area and the Artists at Benham’s Grove are all things you can experience. See you out there! A Special Thank You to those serving or who have served in the Military and who have shared in bringing us all the joy of FREEDOM.

The streets of Downtown are a bit more entertaining – as you drive through or if you get a chance to walk the area, you may be surprised by the Sculptures spread throughout our city (especially if you missed them last year!) J. Seward Johnson, Jr. has provided us with 20 pieces of art that are sure to please everyone! My kids and I love to try and find the new ones and see which ones we’ve missed (I often end up taking several trips through the downtown area just to see if we can find more.)
