Tammy, grew up in Dayton, attended the Dayton Public Schools and Graduated Patterson Cooperative High School. She began a graphics presentation company out of high school and understands what it takes for a business to be successful. Her career in real estate began while living away in Arizona, but it was inevitable that she would return home to the Dayton area. Tammy has now worked in real estate since 2001 and truly enjoys the opportunities (and challenges) that are a part of the real estate markets. As the summer comes to an end, I thought it would be a good time to give everyone an update on our company’s progress and provide a window into the exciting future ahead of us. We have made great strides this year in terms of sales growth. We have had the best summer as a company since 2008. With the markets beginning to correct, we have the winds at our sails for the first time in many years and all of our hard work is starting to payoff. We rank #1 for sales growth over the past 12 months among the top 6 companies in the Dayton market, doubling the pace of the overall market with nearly 20% year over year growth. We have achieved similar growth numbers in our Troy, Greenville, and Lima offices. Our West Chester office wins the top honors this summer, having its best year ever and setting the pace of growth for the company with 90% volume growth over the past 12 months…..yes that’s no typo….90%!

National Association of REALTORS released an update on August 16, 2012:

Extension of Mortgage Cancellation Relief Goes Forward

The Senate Finance Committee has crafted and sent to the full Senate a package that would extend the mortgage relief provision for an additional year, through Dec. 31, 2013.

The Senate was unable to act on the bill before adjourning for its August break and the party conventions. The Senate reconvenes on Sept. 10. Chairman Baucus (D-MT) had expressed a wish to finish this package before the election in order to provide certainty about the extension (or not) of more than 50 provisions. Nonetheless, it is not known if the package would also be considered in the House before the election.
